LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Production objectives Mastery of vacuum gauge (pression manometer) practice. Optimising measurements in an industrial environment. Understand deterioration symptoms of vacuum gauges. Making 1st level maintenance of measurement instruments for an optimal lifespan of the equipment. Teaching objectives To acquire the understanding of vacuum gauges and their function in an industrial environment. To acquire practical information about vacuum gauges calibration. To identify uncertainty components of a calibration.
WHO WILL BENEFIT MOST?
Technicians and engineers who manage process of calibrations measurement in low pressure environment. Technicians who need to make calibrations in laboratories or in industrial site.
INNOVATIVE TEACHING RESOURCES
All practical work is carried out in 40-30 calibration laboratory, certified COFRAC (accreditation nº2-1386 pressure) for vacuum pressure calibrations. A part of the practical exercises takes place in the laboratory. An experienced member of staff will tutor participants. Alternating lectures and “hands-on” exercises. The practical exercises stand for 50% of the training. Custom training manual. Prior interview with the trainees possible in order to qualify their needs. Multiple choice questions at the start and end of the training. Professional 40-30 instructor from the 40-30 metrology laboratory, COFRAC accredited.
